SEPTEMBER 1.9 Lindy hop 2 classes begin More info here. 7–8.9 Lindy hop in Kronoby Intense beginners weekend via Kronoby MI, more info here. 15.9 Lindy hop 1 classes begin More info here. 20.9 Mostly Jazz with Carla Carla Fri sings jazz at The Doo-Bop Club 19–22. Swing music will be played in between sets if you wish to dance. 23.9 Ugly Dance Party 19–21 @Ritz. Start the autumn season officially with a fun swing dance party where we'll be playing unconventional music you can still swing out to. There's also a fun surprise! Guess the theme that connects all of the music, and you'll have a chance to win 1 party pass to Ritz Winter Hop (or use it to get a discount from the full ticket price). Lady Luck will determine 1 lucky winner. Dress code: No dress code, just think "fun & swingin' ugly dance". |

The event celebrates 125 years of swing music legend Duke Ellington. We may dance, as long as we're aware that space is limited and we don't interfere with the sitting audience enjoying the music. |
